First conceived as a ‘hydropathic establishment’ in 1874, the Atholl Palace is everything you’d expect from a splendid country house, built when Victoria and Albert had made the Scottish Highlands the height of a fashionable holiday.
Respecting the past, while referencing current trends and colourways, we’ve helped our clients to make the hotel, spa and conference centre an obvious choice for today’s discerning guest.
Our client’s vision was to enhance the hotel’s splendid setting with elegant interiors. We offered a fantastic range of luxurious fabrics, upholstery and finishes appropriate to the architecture and scale of this grand building.

Brought in after previous contractors let the hotel down, Ambience Designs relished the challenge of refurbishing the bedrooms, sharing our expertise in hotel furniture, room layouts, colour schemes and high-quality, durable fabrics for hotel soft furnishings.
