Shilling Brewing Co.
In a city with a centuries old heritage of pioneering brewing, Shilling Brewing Co. is bringing beer back into vogue. Located in the heart of Glasgow, a new Glendola Leisure project, Shilling Brewing Co. was an exciting challenge for Ambience.
In cooperation with renowned designers Jectico+Whiles this former 1920s Commercial bank was enriched with Ambience furniture, making the great hall, with 20ft-high coffered ceilings, a venue which really stands out.
This recently freed space has turned into the larger lobby, with a long restaurant bar behind which the copper vessels of the brewery sit on an elevated gantry, creating a distinctive backdrop. Visitors are met with a painting of a unicorn intensely connected to the panelling by local artist Gaz Mackay.
A huge inset star decorated into the solid floor signs the way to the bar, while a timber stage area, seared with the brand of Shilling is confined by theatre curtains, and can be used as a semi-private zone.
Ambience restaurant furniture, beautiful designer chairs with table tops, gives a persuasive note to this project.
Ambience, a leader for the hospitality furniture, provided exciting and imaginative restaurant furniture design styles that made this venue outstanding.
We offered our experience to source specific styles that fit perfectly with venue, while meeting space parameters and budget. From tables, chairs to stools our restaurant furniture product range is presented on this project.
