The best possible ingredients
When Burger, the up-and-coming Edinburgh-based business, opened a new venue in the city they came straight to Ambience Designs for their restaurant furniture. With a reputation built on using the best local ingredients, great cooking and nice presentation, Burger needed an interior that would reflect its ethos.
We helped to formulate a co-ordinated theme for the restaurant, pulling together the clients’ ideas into a cohesive design we knew would complement their mission to serve excellent, simple food with a twist (alcoholic milkshake, anyone?).
Burger commissioned us to produce bespoke furniture, including some wafer-thin table tops – unique in our experience – which are just 11mm thick.
Burger has a strong commitment to the environment and to eliminating waste at all stages of the supply chain – even its disposable cutlery is made from corn starch. Good to know then that our high-quality contract furniture was made right here in the UK to exacting environmental standards. In addition to banquette seating, Ambience Designs supplied chairs, stools, table tops and table bases.
The result is a fun, relaxed interior, using a range of elements, including metal, faux leathers, polished brass and rustic finishes.
With such commitment to excellence (they mince and make their burgers from fresh meat each morning) it’s little wonder that Burger is now the restaurant of choice for Edinburgh’s burger connoisseurs.
