The bar in the station

The bar in the station

Parisian style in London’s gothic gem

Nestled within the restored grandeur of Londonā€™s St Pancras Station, the Bar des Vins transports rail travelers to the Continent, whether their journey leads to Nice or Nottingham.

Tasked with capturing the essence of travel excitement, anticipation, and reunions, our team collaborated closely with the client’s design team to craft an interior that resonates with the station’s vibrant energy. The resulting fusion has proven to be a crowd-pleaser in this 76-seater venue.

Located strategically at the heart of the station, adjacent to the Eurostar departure and arrival points, Bar des Vins stands as a captivating centerpiece within St Pancras’ magnificent interior.

Guests are welcomed into a captivating blend of a traditional French bistro and an English gentlemanā€™s club, paying homage to the station’s Victorian Gothic architecture and the romantic allure of train travel.

Our team curated a selection of captivating and unconventional materials for the restaurant furniture, including a distinctive lava rock table sourced from France. The meticulous import and installation of these premium units showcased our dedication to precision and expertise.

Our offerings also included French-designed bentwood chairs, meticulously crafted from beech and adorned with Pantone colors, including a signature green to align with the client’s brand. Complemented by high stools and an assortment of low and dining tables, the furniture ensemble exudes sophistication and style.

Bar des Vins’ unparalleled location and unique ambiance have cemented its status as a preferred destination for discerning travelers seeking delectable cuisine and fine wines.

While St Pancras Station may now only echo with the hiss of coffee machines, Bar des Vins incorporates a range of finishesā€”stone, wood, faux leathers, and metalā€”to seamlessly blend old-world charm with contemporary efficiency, captivating patrons from both sides of the Channel.
